ParklandOne - FAQ
What is a ParklandOne account?
All faculty, staff and students receive a ParklandOne account for accessing Parkland online systems, such as my.parkland, student email, employee email, Wi-Fi, Microsoft Office 365 and Cobra Learning. To establish your ParklandOne account, you must first complete the process by enrolling your account via ParklandOne Password Station. Enrolling your ParklandOne account simply means that you are tying it to your mobile phone number in order to receive validation codes from the system via text messaging. It also means that you have changed the initial default password to a secure password of your choosing.
What is my ParklandOne username?
What is my initial default ParklandOne password?
Your initial default password is your 6-digit birth date (MMDDYY), UNLESS it tells you that password is EXPIRED. If so, you will need to contact the Tech Service Desk at 217-353-3333 for assistance.
How do I access ParklandOne Password Station to enroll my account, reset a forgotten password, or update my account information?
What are the requirements for enrolling my ParklandOne account using ParklandOne Password Station?
You will need a device with internet access and a mobile phone that accepts text messages. If you do not have a phone that can receive text messages, please call the Tech Service Desk at 217-353-3333 for assistance.

When will my ParklandOne Password Expire?
ParklandOne passwords will expire one year from the last password creation date (this includes default passwords as well). 30 days prior to the expiration, you will start seeing a popup message after you have signed onto my.parkland.edu showing you your password expiration date. It will advise you to change your password (simply click on the Change Password button). For NON-ENROLLED AND EXPIRED ParklandOne accounts, you will need to contact the Tech Service Desk at 217-353-3333 or stop by Room A184 for assistance. What if my username has changed due to marriage, etc.?
If the College has assigned you a new username, you will need to enroll your new account in ParklandOne Password Station. Please note that name changes for students are only processed by Admissions and Records in-between semesters so as not to interrupt your access to Parkland systems. Once complete, go to https://one.parkland.edu/ and enter your new username. If you are not sure what it is, you can look it up by going https://webapp.parkland.edu/usernamelookup/. You will then need to then follow the steps outlined in ParklandOne - How to Enroll in the Password Management System .
