In the past few months, several exciting new technology changes and benefits have been rolled out to the college.  The first being the migration to Microsoft Office 365.  Employees were switched over to Microsoft Outlook email this summer and students will be switched over between the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters.  An added benefit of this switch is that all employees and students now have access to Microsoft Office 365 for free.  For more information, please click here. The second benefit that has occurred this summer is the introduction of Lynda.com, an online learning resource that offers a wide variety of training videos for topics such as business, software, technology, and creative skills. For more information on how to sign up for your free account, please click here. The third big technology related change has been the introduction of the ParklandOne Password Station system which allows users to create a highly secure password which syncs across various Parkland systems and allows users to manage and reset passwords on their own.  For more information on ParklandOne, please click here. The fourth technology benefit that has been recently rolled out is the new Dell computer shop within the Parkland Bookstore.  Various models of laptops are available and can be purchased with Financial Aid funds.  Please stop by the Bookstore in the Student Union for more information.
