wePresent Software Installation (Windows)

The steps in this document are necessary for any employee wanting to share their screen on a WePresent equipped conference room or a student wanting to share their screen in a BYOD classroom. Please follow these directions to install the software on your Windows device. Administrative privileges are required to install this software. If you are prompted with a User Account Control (UAC) dialog asking you if you want to allow the program to make changes to the computer, click YES or supply administrator credentials. Alternatively, there is an EXE application that can be used to run the software without installation.

Open up a browser and navigate to https://www.barco.com/en/product/mirrorop. MirrorOp is the name of the software that works with the wePresent devices.

Click Download Now.

Scroll down to view the Drivers and Firmware section.

At this point, you have a choice. You may click on the Download file button next to where it says, "Installer (.msi) for MirrorOp Windows Sender" which will download an MSI file that will require administrative privileges to install and continue with these instructions. Or, you may click on Download File next to where it says "MirrorOP for Windows - Version with no installation and no admin rights needed". After this second options is downloaded, you can simply double click the file to start MirrorOp.

Save the installer file to a preferred location, perhaps your desktop. In this case, the browser defaulted to the Downloads folder. To begin the installation of the software, double-click the downloaded file from the location you saved it to.

Click Next.

Accept the license agreement and click Next.

It is recommended to enable automatic software update checking by checking the box. Click Next.

User Account Control

You may be prompted by User Account Control asking, "Do you want this app to make changes to your device?" The window will look different from this image if your account is an administrator on your device. If your account has administrative privileges, you may simply click Yes. Otherwise, you will need to provide the credentials for an administrator account on your device, then click Yes.

Leave the “Launch the program” box checked and click Finish.
