Wi-Fi - Connect to "parkland-guest" on a Mac
- Students must have an active Parkland email account in order to sign on to the Parkland Wi-Fi with their ParklandOne credentials. If not, please create a guest account: parkland-guest Wi-Fi - Create a Guest Account
- Traffic on the parkland-guest SSID is not encrypted (unless you are accessing a secure site via HTTPS).
- Users will be given limited access to Parkland network resources.
Method 1 (if your Wi-Fi icon is not displaying, please scroll down to Method 2.)
1. Click the Wi-Fi logo in the top right corner of the screen (Status Menu).
2. From the Wi-Fi drop down list, click Other Networks, then select "parkland-guest".
Your default browser should automatically pop up asking you to sign in. If it does not prompt after 10 seconds, open your web browser (Safari, Chrome or Firefox) and wait a few seconds for a login screen.
3. Click the button to create a Guest account
4. FIll out the contact information and check the box to accept terms and conditions, and click Connect
Method 2 (If your Wi-Fi Logo is not showing, follow the steps below):
1. Click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen, then select System Settings.
2. Click Wi-Fi from the menu pane on the left.
3. Find "parkland-guest" and click Connect.

4. Click the button to create a Guest account
5. FIll out the contact information and check the box to accept terms and conditions, and click Connect
Troubleshooting Tips
On Apple devices, you may need to select the “FIXED” option under “Private Wi-Fi Address”.
