wePresent MirrorOp Installation for Audio (Mac)
If you haven't already done so, you will first need to install the MirrorOp application which is used in conjunction with the wePresent device. wePresent MirrorOp Software Installation (Mac)
- To find out if you have an Apple Silicon or Intel-based Mac, please see: How to Find macOS Version and Hardware Information
- If you have installed MirrorOp on a Parkland owned Apple Silicon Mac through Jamf Self Service, the audio driver should already be installed and you may skip to Step 5.
Apple Silicon Mac Audio Installation:
1. In a browser, navigate to https://www.barco.com/en/support/mirrorop/drivers and download the Mac OS audio driver for M1 device.
2. Open the Finder located on the dock. Click the Downloads folder and double click Driver.pkg.
You may get a message saying, "The package cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."
If so, Click the Apple Logo at the top-left corner of the screen and select System Settings.
Click Privacy and Security, at the bottom under the Security section click Open Anyway.
4. Continue through the installation prompt for the BlackHole audio driver.
A restart may be required after the installation.
5. Once the driver installation is complete, go to System Settings by clicking the Apple Logo at the top-left corner of the screen, select Sound, and change the output to BlackHole 2ch.
