Select Desktop from the “Add New” option list.
In the PC Name field, enter your computer name followed by .pc.parkland.edu and select Done. Note: Your PC will have a white label on that lists your computer's name (Example: A253-O-W01) so you would then type in A253-O-W01.pc.parkland.edu.
The User Account field can be left as the default.
Select the Additional Options field, and select Friendly Name.
Enter a “Friendly Name" such as “work computer” or a similar variation and select Done. This will now be displayed when you open the RD client application moving forward.
Select Save and you will now see the device on the Remote Desktop home screen.
Select the device and your session will begin to connect.
A window prompting for your user credentials will be displayed. Enter your ParklandOne username and password and select Done - you can opt to store these credentials if you like.
A certification for the computer will appear. Select Accept - you can choose to save this by selecting "Don't ask me again".
You will now see your Windows desktop.
When you are done working with the RDP connection, select the Triple Bar icon in the top-center of the screen and then select End Session.
