Public Safety Emergency Notifications
Parkland College Emergency Alert System
The College is replacing the IRIS mass notification system with a new system. The information you have previously entered into IRIS will no longer be used to email or contact you in the case of an emergency. Parkland College will access the personal contact information that is listed in Colleague, including your Parkland email, mobile phone number, and home phone number for use in the new system.
All current students and employees will automatically receive these alerts. Unlike IRIS, you will not need to sign up for the notification service. If your contact information changes, please do the following to ensure that you continue to receive emergency alerts. Students, contact the Office of Admissions and Records at 217-351-2482. Employees, contact Human Resources at 217-351-2220.
