Locating a missing course in Cobra Learning - Faculty
When faculty log into Cobra Learning, they will see their assigned courses listed under the My Courses widget.
If you do not see a course on Cobra Learning, but it does appear in your Webadvisor schedule:
- When was the load added to Colleague? If the department secretary added you today; the course will show in Webadvisor immediately, but in Cobra the following day. Please allow 1 day after seeing the course in Webadvisor for it to appear in Cobra.
- In what semester is this course loaded in Colleague? If it is for the current semester, see #1 above. If it is for a future semester, then check the Cobra loader schedule located on the Cobra homepage "Merge Courses" widget to determine when the loader for that semester will run. (I.e., if this is October and you are looking for a Spring course, we may not be loading the spring courses yet - see image below - and/or may only be running them one day a week).
Note: in the image above the 2015FA indicates that we are running Fall 2015 schedule. When 2016SP (Spring 2016) shows in the matrix, then those are the days that we will run that semester and you can expect to see those courses updated ONLY after the loader runs on those days.
If you do not see a course on Cobra Learning and it also does NOT appear in Webadvisor:
- Please check with the department secretary as they may have not entered the load into Colleague for teaching yet.
- If you need immediate access to Cobra, please ask your department to contact PDIT to confirm the load and approve your manual enrollment in the course.
