Wireless Printing (Mobile Devices) - Email to Print
Email to Print allows mobile device users to print documents by sending them as an email attachment. No client software or drivers are required, providing a simple way to print from any device that can send an email. Note: These instructions are not intended for offsite printing for the Bring Your Own Device(BYOD)courses.
Advantages:
- Works with nearly any device (if it can send an email with attachments it works)
- Supports PDF document attachments.
- Supports Microsoft Office document attachments.
Using Email to Print
Compose an email message
From your mobile device, compose a new email, attach a PDF or Office document, and send it to the appropriate printer's email address. Because there are no user configurable print options, these four queues are pre-configured for mono/single/duplex or color/single/duplex printing.
- pcprint@parkland.edu for Mono prints - 10 cents/page
- pcprintcolor@parkland.edu for Color prints - 50 cents/page
- pcprintduplex@parkland.edu for Mono, duplex prints - 15 cents/page
- pcprintcolorduplex@parkland.edu for Color, duplex prints - 75 cents/page
The print job is held in the queue until you visit a release station to print it. Release stations are available in B117, D134, the Parkland Library and R227 (when lab is open). *Printing is free for Parkland employees.
