Web Browsers - How to Change the Compatibility View Settings in Internet Explorer

Instructions for how to change the compatibility view settings in Internet Explorer 9, 10, and 11.

Internet Explorer 11:

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.

2. Click the Tools button Tools in the upper right corner and then select Compatibility View settings.

3. In the Add this website field, enter the URL of the site you want to add to the list, and then select Add.

4. To remove a website, select it from the list and click Remove.

5. Select Close.


Internet Explorer 9 & 10:

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.

2. Select Tools from the menu bar in the upper left and then click Compatibility View settings.

3. If you don't have the menu bar and cannot find Tools, press the Press the Alt key on your keyboard to enable the menu bar.

4. In the Add this website field, enter the URL of the site you want to add to the list, and then select Add.

5. To remove a website, select it from the list and click Remove.

6. Select Close.
