How To Update iPadOS
Updating your iPad provides the latest features and security fixes for your device. This article contains instructions on how to update your iPad to the latest available version of iPadOS. Please follow the instructions below:
Update iPadOS:
Requirements:
- iPad (At least 50% charged and/or plugged in)
- Internet connection
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap General from the menu pane on the left, then tap Software Update.
3. Tap Download and Install, then accept the Terms and Conditions.
Your iPad will download the update.
4. After the download is complete, tap Install Now and follow the prompts as needed.
Note: If your iPad has a passcode enabled, you will be prompted to enter it to continue.
Your iPad will now verify the update, restart, and apply the update.
