Microsoft Teams - Adding or Removing Delegates
Adding a delegate
1. To allow another user to answer calls made to your Teams phone number or to make calls from your number via Teams, set them as a delegate. To do this, click on your profile picture or initials in the top right.
2. Select Manage Account > General > Delegation > Manage Delegates > Your delegates.
3. Type in the username of the user you wish to set as a delegate in the search bar and click their name in the search results.
4. Choose the permissions you wish to grant this user
a. Make calls will allow the user to make outgoing calls from your Teams number
b. Receive calls will allow the user to answer incoming calls to your Teams number
c. Change call and delegate settings will allow the user to manage the settings of your calls and delegate settings.
Removing a delegate
1. To remove a current delegate's permissions, click on your profile picture or initials in the top right.
2. Select Manage Account > General > Delegation > Manage Delegates > Your delegates.
3. Click on the three dots on the right side of the user you wish to remove and click Remove delegate.
Editing a delegate's permissions
1. To change an existing delegate's permissions, click on your profile picture or initials in the top right.
2. Select Manage Account > General > Delegation > Manage Delegates > Your delegates.
3. Click on the three dots on the right side of the user whose permissions you wish to edit and click Edit permissions.
4. Check the boxes indicating the permissions you wish to grant the user and click Save.
