Employee FAQ - My.Parkland.edu and Parkland.edu




Q: Why am I still seeing the maintenance notification when I go to Parkland.edu and/or My.parkland.edu?

You will need to clear the cache in your browser. Web Browsers - How to Clear Your Cache


Q: My password does not work for My.parkland.edu. What should I do?

All ParklandOne passwords have been reset. Anyone accessing my.parkland will need to change their password at one.parkland.edu prior to accessing. Go to one.parkland.edu, sign in with your ParklandOne username, and select the “Forgot Password” option. This will send a 4-digit authorization code to your mobile phone and you will need to enter and confirm a new password. Please note that this will not change your password for Office 365/email OR for Cobra Learning. You will continue to sign in to those two systems as you have been. On May 16th, Office 365/email AND Cobra will be synced to your new ParklandOne password. For any access issues, please contact the Tech Service Desk at 217/353-3333.

Q: Why can’t I reuse my old ParklandOne password?

ParklandOne password requirements do not allow reuse of old passwords.


Q: Is my Office365/Email AND Cobra password synced with my ParklandOne password?

Access will not be synced at this time. You will continue to sign in to those two systems as you have been. On May 16th, Office 365/email AND Cobra will be synced to your new ParklandOne password. For any access issues, please contact the Tech Service Desk at 217/353-3333.


Q: Can I access shared drives, VPN (for Colleague UI access), or services utilizing single sign-on (TechSmith Relay, Zoom, etc.)? 

The above services are not available, but work to restore them safely is underway with the assistance of outside experts.


Q: Is the Parkland College Call Center back online?

Yes, the call center is back online and can be reached at 217/351-2200. The call center hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. 
  

Q:  My files are OneDrive are corrupt or missing, can I get them back?

You can restore your entire OneDrive to a previous time. The file restore in OneDrive will allow you to undo all of the actions that occurred on files and folders within the last 30 days.
