Campus Technologies - Work Request Guidelines
The purpose of this document is to describe the process by which requests are to be submitted to Campus Technologies, and subsequently reviewed and prioritized. The objective of this process is to ensure the efficient use of resources to provide the services most needed by the College.
What is NOT a Work Request?
System down, emergency events, incidents, normal operational items, and requests to run existing reports are not work requests and should not be submitted through the work request system. Campus Technologies should be notified of these requests or situations via phone or email.
What is a Work Request?
A work request is a request by an employee of Parkland College for Campus Technologies services. It documents a specific need related to data and systems Campus Technologies supports. A work request must be submitted via the work request system anytime services are needed. There is not a minimum amount of work that requires a work request, but rather if the need is not system down, emergency, incident, normal operations, or a request to run an existing report then a work request must be submitted.
