Activating the "Course Not Ready" navbar

Note:  You can use this system nav bar to keep students from accessing the content and other areas of your course until you are ready for them to access it. This nav bar limits them to the homepage, where you can post an announcement telling them when the course will be ready. The only link in the navbar that they will have access to is the classlist.

Change navbar to Course Not Ready

1. In your course, click on Course Admin.
2. Select Navigation and Themes.
3. On the Navbars page, choose Course Not Ready from the Active Navbar drop-down list.
4. Click Apply.

Note:  This also changes your navigation bar to Classlist and Course Admin.  To access Content and other tools, click Course Admin.

When Course is Ready

When your course is ready, simply repeat the above process, selecting your prefered navbar from the Active Navbar drop-down list, and click Apply.
