Requesting an Employee Account for Student Workers
If your student worker needs access to employee resources such as a workstation, shared folder/s, shared mailbox/es, or Colleague, please fill out the form that is linked to below. Student worker accounts expire automatically at the end of each semester and a new form will need to be filled out for continued access. Please allow at least 5 business days from the time of receipt for completion. If your student employee does NOT need access to employee resource, a student worker account is not required.

Please be sure to get the proper signature/s on the form before submitting to the Tech Service Desk (room A184) or techhelp@parkland.edu.
If Colleague access is needed, they must complete the FERPA training in Vector prior to the creation of their student worker account. HR will assign the training and grant them access to Vector within the first week of their employment. Your student employee will sign into Vector with their ParklandOne student credentials. Please have them send you the certificate at the end of the training.
Next, obtain a signature from the VP of Student Services. Electronic receipt is preferred and the form and certificate should be sent to vpss@parkland.edu. Once signed, the VP of Student Services will route the form to techhelp@parkland.edu for processing.
Colleague access is not granted to student workers in academic departments. Access is granted to those working in Student Services only.
