Microsoft 365 - Hardware / System Requirements for Client Install

Windows System Requirements:

  • Computer and processor

1.1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster, 2-core minimum

  • Operating system

Windows 11 or Windows 10
For the best experience, use the latest version of any operating system specified above.

  • Memory

4 GB RAM

  • Hard disk

4 GB of available disk space

Mac System Requirements:

  • Computer and processor

Intel or Apple Silicon processor (as supported by the three most recent versions of macOS)

  • Operating system

The 3 most recent versions of macOS. As new major versions of macOS are made generally available, Microsoft will stop support for the oldest version and support the newest and previous two versions of macOS.

  • Memory

4 GB RAM

10 GB of available disk space.
