1. In the Windows search bar, type in “Check for updates” and click on the System settings search result for Check for updates.

2. The Settings window will open to the Windows Update tab. Click on the Check for updates button.

3. Windows will look for available updates for your computer.

4. When the Check for updates process is complete, you should be presented with an option to install Windows 11. Click on Download and Install.

5. Windows 11 will now begin downloading in the background. During this stage of the process, you may continue to work on your device.

6. Once the download is complete, it will prompt you to restart your computer. You can do this immediately or schedule a time to have your device restart. Please make sure to save any of your work and close any applications you may have open before your restart your device. If the installation completes while you are away from the device, it may restart automatically outside of active hours. Active hours are from 7:00AM to 10:00PM.

7. Once your device has finished restarting, your device will present the new Windows 11 login screen. Sign in with your ParklandOne credentials to complete your user profile setup.

Note: The first time you disconnect your laptop from its dock, you may be prompted to provide credentials to authenticate to the PCNET wireless network. Please use your ParklandOne credentials.
