How to Check What Version of iPadOS or iOS is Installed

These instructions are for anyone who would like to determine what iPadOS version is installed on their iPad, or what iOS version is installed on their iPhone.

Finding the iPadOS or iOS Version:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select About.
  • iPad: You can see the iPadOS version that is installed. It will be listed in the iPadOS Version field in the "About" menu pane.

  • iPhone: You can see the iOS version that is installed. It will be listed in the iOS Version field in the "About" menu pane.
