Microsoft Support & Recovery Assistant for Office

After installing Office 365 on your personal device, you will need to sign in with your Parkland College email address. This will allow for the subscription tied with your account to activate, and you will be able to use Office 365 during your time at Parkland. However, if you sign in with another email (ie. gmail or yahoo), it will consider this the primary email to look for a subscription on. In order to fix this, the following steps should be followed.
  1. Go to go.parkland.edu and select Apps from the menu pane on the left.
    1. Menu pane with "Apps" highlighted
  2. On the next page that appears, select Install apps in the upper right corner of the screen.
    1. The "Install apps" drop-down menu with "Microsoft 365 apps" highlighted
  3. In the new tab that opens, select Tools & add-ins from the menu pane on the left.
    1. Menu pane with "Tools & add-ins" highlighted
  4. Select Microsoft Suppot and Recovery Assistant for Microsoft Office.
    1. "Tools & add-ins" menu with "Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Microsoft Office" highlighted.
  5. Follow the steps provided with this tool. If this does not work, restart the machine and run the troubleshooter. After the troubleshooter fixes the issue, sign in to one of the Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) with your full parkland College email address and your ParklandOne password. This will activate your subscription.
