Windows 7 - Change Default Applications

Sometimes when you click a link or try to open a document within Windows 7, the computer may not use your preferred program. For example, when you click on an email address in Colleague, it will not launch Outlook. The solution to this problem is outlined below.

1. Click on the “Start” button on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and choose Default Programs.

2. Choose Set program access and computer configuration.


3. Select Microsoft Windows.

4. click OK and you are done.
