“Campus” Wi-Fi SSID has Moved to New Authentication Server (Faculty and Staff) - Instructions for Access

When the “Campus” SSID is moved to the new Wi-Fi authentication server, users of Parkland-owned wireless devices may receive some messages about the server’s certificate changing. Please follow the steps below to get past the certificate prompt in order to access the new "PCNet" Wi-Fi network on PCs, Macs, and iOS devices. Please note that on iOS devices (including iPads), you will lose your network connection and you must rejoin using the "PCNet" SSID.

On Windows 7 devices, you may receive two messages. The first one pops up from the Notification Tray.

If you click on this notification, you will receive the second message.

In order to connect to the network, you must click Connect. Please connect to "PCNet" instead of "Campus".


On Windows 8.1 devices
, the message is displayed in the Charms Bar when attempting to connect to the Campus network.

In order to connect to the network, you must click Connect. Please connect to "PCNet" instead of "Campus".


On Windows 10 devices, the message is displayed in the Charms Bar when attempting to connect to the Campus network.

In order to connect to the network, you must click Connect. Please connect to "PCNet" instead of "Campus".


On Macintosh devices, you may receive two messages. The first one pops up in the middle of the screen.

If you click Continue, you will receive the following prompt.

In order to connect to the network, you must enter your ParklandOne credentials and click Update Settings. Please connect to "PCNet" instead of "Campus".


On iOS Devices (including iPads), you will lose your network connection. To re-join the network, follow the instructions below.
  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select Wi-Fi
  3. Select "PCNet"
  4. Use your ParklandOne username and password
  5. Select Join
  6. When redirected to the Trust information (on the Certificate screen), press Accept or Trust
