Requesting Accounts for Student Workers

Please fill out the following form to request workstation, network drive, shared mailbox/es, or Colleague access for student employees. Please note that all student worker accounts expire automatically at the end of each semester and a new form will need to be filled out for continued access. Generic accounts that can be shared by multiple student workers are no longer created. In addition, Colleague access is not granted to student workers in academic departments. Access is granted to those working in Student Services only. Please allow at least 5 business days from the time of receipt for completion.

Please be sure to get the proper signature/s on the form before submitting it to the Tech Service Desk (room A184) for processing.

If Colleague access is also requested for the new student employee, please be sure to have them complete the online FERPA training at https://my.parkland.edu. THIS STEP IS ONLY NECESSARY IF COLLEAGUE ACCESS IS REQUESTED. They will need to click on the Student Services tab and select FERPA Training. Have them read steps 1-4 in the tutorial, take the FERPA quiz, and then fill out and print the FERPA Verification Form. Please attach that form to the Account Request Form for Student Workers, obtain a signature from the V.P of Student Services, and then deliver the paperwork to the Tech Service Desk, room A184.
