Public Printing (Guests) - Self Registration for PaperCut

Guests needing to print while at Parkland now have two options. You can visit the main desk or Tech Service Desk in the Library to have a PaperCut account created for you or you can register online and create your own PaperCut account. Once your account is created, guests can print within the Parkland Library.

PaperCut Self Registration

Once your account is created, you need to add value to it before you can send and release your print jobs. Add Value Stations are available in the Library that accept cash or coins. Additionally, from your account Summary page, a credit card can be used to add value to your account.

  • B/W prints - 10 cents/page
  • Color prints - 50 cents/page
  • B/W, doube-sided prints - 15 cents/page
  • Color, double-sided prints - 75 cents/page
  • The first step in the Guest Registration process is to visit the Parkland PaperCut website: and click the Guest Account Registration link.


    Self Registration Form

    The Register New User Account form opens. All fields are required.

    A valid email address is required to not only verify your new account; but communicate with you about any Email to Print jobs you have submitted. Your account will have a pc- prefix to prevent duplication with existing PaperCut accounts. If you enter testuser (as in the screenshot below) as your username, your complete username is pc-testuser. Finally, create a secure password and don't share it with anyone.


    When the form is complete, Click the Register button.


    This screen indicates you have successfully created your account. You'll receive an email asking to verify your account. Those instructions are at the end of this document.


    Clicking Login opens the PaperCut Log in page with your username filled in.

    First Login

    Enter your password and Click Log in.



    This is your PaperCut account summary page. It details information about your account. You can add credit to your account or print from a laptop. Log Out when you're finished.


    Verify your email address

    When your PaperCut is created, an email is sent to the address you provided. The message asks you to verify your address by clicking a link and log into your PaperCut account. This associates your email address with your PaperCut account and allows you to use Email to Print and receive status messages about those print jobs.

    Clicking the verification link opens the PaperCut log in window and looks something like this:


    Logging in with your new PaperCut username/password associates this email address with your account. Successful completion of this process opens this window.


    This completes Guest Account Registration.
