Office 365 (Outlook) - Parkland College Email Spam Filter


  

You will receive a daily digest of potential spam mail from “Parkland College Email Security Gateway.” The email address is emailgateway@parkland.edu and the subject will be “You have new held messages.”  It will contain the new held emails since the last digest message.  The digest message will typically be sent around 3:00 PM and will look like this:

The Graymail heading identifies email messages that the system could not identify as SPAM or legitimate email. Please see the chart below for explanation of each action you can take within the daily digest. You can also manage past held emails and your blocked and permitted sender lists by clicking on the Personal Portal link at the top of the email message. Please note that when you navigate to the Personal Portal, it will prompt you to sign in. Enter your full Parkland email address and click Next. It will then prompt you for your ParklandOne username and password.
